LANGUAGE RESOURCES
Arabic
Arabic is spoken by more than 300 million people as a native language and used for liturgical and technical purposes by nearly a billion. The US State Department identifies Arabic as a critical language, meaning that there exists much support and scholarships available for the intermediate and advanced study of the language. All Arabic courses at Georgia State are available entirely online as asynchronous courses. Further study can be done on an individual basis or, more preferably, through a network of study abroad programs where students can take advantage of the immersion environment. Please contact Dr. Ian Campbell at [email protected] should you have questions.
