INSTRUCTOR SERVICES
Maximize Your Experience at the CIRCLE: Classroom Sessions & Event Celebrations
To ensure a successful and seamless multimedia class session in the CIRCLE, instructors are encouraged to take advantage of the various activities and resources available. These activities include oral/listening examinations, paired or grouped discussions, review of audio materials, internet activities, PowerPoint presentations, composition writing using international character sets, and video viewing. The CIRCLE staff is ready to assist instructors in managing their multimedia classes and welcomes any ideas or suggestions.
In order to reserve the CIRCLE for a class session, instructors are required to email the CIRCLE at least two days in advance. The email should include the specific time of the class, the number of students attending, and a detailed description of the proposed activities. For instructors who prefer a more thorough discussion of the class activities, it is recommended to schedule a meeting with the Director of CIRCLE before the actual class day.
To ensure that students are aware of the location change, instructors should remind them that the class will be held in the CIRCLE. Instructors have the option to either walk their class over from the regular classroom or instruct their students to go directly to the CIRCLE.
To facilitate a smooth class session, instructors are advised to inform the Director of CIRCLE in advance if any special audio or video files will be used during the class. This will allow for necessary arrangements such as audio or video format conversions or digitization, which should be requested at least a week before the scheduled class.
Beyond academic pursuits, the CIRCLE facility also stands as an ideal venue for instructors to celebrate students special events, milestones, or cultural festivities. Its state-of-the-art multimedia capabilities can enhance any gathering, making it memorable and engaging. Whether it's an end-of-term celebration, a cultural immersion event, or a language-themed festivity, the CIRCLE promises a unique ambiance tailored to your needs. Our dedicated staff is on hand to assist with any technical requirements or logistical support to ensure your event runs smoothly. To reserve the CIRCLE for your next event, simply reach out to us with your preferred date and requirements, and we'll be more than happy to accommodate your celebration.
