Meet our CIRCLE Student Assistants

Hi, my name is Azareel, and I am studying Public Health. I love reading and learning about other cultures and plan to visit several parts of the world one day. I am currently studying French for fun and have been taking classes since middle school (though I’m better at writing, listening, and reading that speaking it, lol). I also started to learn Dutch and Italian, but I only know the basics. I’d love to be a polyglot one day, so I can effectively communicate with others during travels. I am originally from Nigeria but grew up in Ireland, so I used to speak Gaelic, but I’ve long forgotten the language since my parents don’t speak it (though I’d love to learn it again). A few hobbies I enjoy are writing, reading, making art, and binging Netflix (obviously). I enjoy romance genres for everything, but I do love a good sci-fi or thriller novel/movie. Y’all should check out the show “You” on Netflix if you haven’t already 😀

Hey, y’all, my name is Mitchell, and I am studying at GSU for International Economics, with a concentration in Spanish. I was born in Darwin, Australia, and lived there until I was 7 moving to FL, North GA, and then coming here. I am currently studying to be fluent in Spanish and learning Spanish culture and history interests me. History and Geography in general interests me. Obviously, economics and culture/language are interesting to me as well. My goal for my undergrad is to try to do the best I can (duh) and make sure I study abroad at least three times over my 4 years (hopefully). Happy to help anyone who comes by!

My name is Jennifer Okwudili. I'm a third-year majoring in biology on a pre-med track. I was born in the United States, but my family was born in Nigeria and came here for a better life, most of my family speak Igbo for conversations, and I can understand what their saying without speaking. I'm very interested in the world around me, and learning about the world, life, and personal experiences at the university. My dream is to go to medical school to become a doctor. I'm interested in going into a research assistant in the biology, biomedical science or chemistry field to gain experience. I'm focusing on studying. And some of my hobbies are watching YouTube videos, playing video games, and reading online manga.
